I keep most of it underground in air-controlled environments. Honestly, I do not collect first editions or crumbling manuscripts of virtually any kind, though, so I’m aiming for longevity for a more general collection.

The main problem i face, believe it or not, is structural fatigue: I like them to be together, which means that they literally would collapse any floor of a regular house besides the foundation level/basement.

I have some select books i keep in my study/personal library, but that isn’t very significant. I cycle those books out from the main store quite often. My wife prefers a more minimal daily aesthetic with a satellite collection stored for the most part out of sight.

This is an interesting assessment. How do you think the “most immediate danger” viz. the right will manifest? It seems to me that they are more engaged with simply annihilating actual bodies on the left, where the left is more concerned with the annihilation of ideologies

This seems like a promising program, minus the amazon aspect. Why do you dislike amazon so much? How do you believe amazon has contributed to the current crisis?

I’m keeping it tight in order to be able to offer any book i own for free digital sharing. I can hold “seminars” and provide academic texts upon request; smaller membership means that this is legally still sanctionable. Apart from that I’d love to open it up to anyone and everyone; are you looking for a link?

What an obvious and dumbass thing to say. Of course there are worse things than books—like people. Did you really need to type that?
