Explain to me how language can alter a mathematical model. So long as internal consistency is maintained a formula in base 10 will work in base 8 or 2 or 57. The symbols used in math are needed to convey ideas to others, but the ideas themselves are independent of how they are represented.
It is only when you start using mathematical theory in models of reality that you start to get contradicting ideas. Only then are preconceptions able to influence what is considered to be “true”

The math you studied in high school was not math at its core, you were taught to follow instructions and plug numbers into formulae you did not actually understand like a good little monkey. We are taught that math is important because it is used in so many of the “useful” career paths. While this may be the case actual mathematical research is so abstract and disconnected from reality that most good school grades in math are more representative of the students’ abilities to follow orders than actual ability in the subject.
