Good day! Since the holidays should be here if you are not Australian (?) and you guys have plenty of free time, is there a better way to spend it than by working on your /lit/ skills? No. That's why a writing competition will happen. Join or die, write or wither away. I'll try to make this a monthly thing for /lit/ with various plots, genres and subjects covered so that everyone gets to try different sort of literature.

Format: Email, a word document or a shared Google Drive file.
Deadline: 14.6
Genre: Short story (1000 to 10 000 words)
Contents: Has to include at least one characters who can immediately recognize a crop of a single frame of a film released years ago simply by looking at a reenactment of that crop with pizza ingredients, and this ability has to have relevance in the story.
