i see three major themes in the future of lit u tell me if they are vanguard enough for you.
Art- someone eats some Mcdonalds craps it into a kindle and then ask what u think of his work
Politics- Religious conservatives and anarchist will join forces to create a manifesto in where people shoot it out and god sorts it out
Culture- people will fight depression with drugs, addiction with mysticism, and disappointment with apathy
So am i edgy yet?
also pic is my book cover

to answer your question
Nitezche
Marx
Plato
Aristotle
Edgar allan Poe
and lord of the flies
are all standard 16yr old readings they are sufficiently intellectual enough that u can drown out the dumb that your peers are trying to infect you with

i also don't think you read them all but my bookshelf is full of books i haven't read yet the ones i read i put in a box in the attic or hand out to friends. I don't need to look at things i wont be reading again.

Utopia and those curious new cults are interesting thou nice job venturing from the well known generic intellectual authors
