/lit/ you accidentally freed a genie from his lamp while out on a walk. As thanks he offers you the ability to enter the world of a novel as yourself or becoming any character. The only rules are that you have to have read the book at some point and the character has to be human if you choose to become one. Also there are no do overs, whatever you choose you're stuck with your choice forever. You could also decide to do nothing.

What would /lit/ choose?

Partly to get me in a healthy routine and this keeps my mind active. Sometimes its for fun. Sometimes, or really I should say the deep down truth for most of the books I'm reading, I'm hoping something will eventually click for me, some hidden truth about the universe that prior alluded me, that whatever clicks for me will guide me to a form of life where I'm not such a fuck up loser living with his parents and more someone that people would follow. In my most fantastical and hopeful dreams I'm hoping I actually figure out reality enough that I'm able to guide it and lead it to a place thats not so shit.

At the base level though I just want a cute happy wife to raise beautiful children with deep in the forest, in a cottage on a hill with a view of a waterfall.

Because if you're educated and tall enough then they don't need to know much more about you to think you're good enough. Personally I think sperm banks are INSANE but hey when the option is there. I'm neither a virgin nor an incel but I'm still considering making a few deposits just to alleviate that ever-nagging notion that I have a duty or responsibility to contribute to the gene pool. That way if I decided I wanted to have kids of my own it wouldn't be because I felt like I "had to"; it would be because I wanted to.

I chose a Kindle PW over the Kobo Clara. My main reason for doing so is that the Kindle is waterproof and I read outdoors frequently. If you get Calibre and use """online libraries""" it doesn't really matter which you get. Haven't payed for a book since I got the Kindle. As for the different file types (kindle can only use PDF, mobi, and azw3 iirc), I've been able to get just about everything I wanted in the right format, though epub is more common. Worst case scenario you still have access to Amazon's giant ebook store. Take the ebook pill.
