I'm doing CS, third year. We are not going back to campus this semester because teachers are still scared of covid.
While most material is easy to understand the amount of work you have to put is asphyxiating. We are basically working at this point. Sometimes in trivial programs and without pay.
I'm part of the "best" university of this third world country and it seems that just means we as students just do a lot of work. I know people from other unis that lead comfier lives while studying engineering and cs.
I should have studied Math since neither analysis or algebra felt like chores and I no longer plan on being and codemonkey.
I would dropout but that would disappoint the only person I love in the world, my mother, so I'll just take two more years. It's just an undergrad program at the end of the day.
