Yes, but it's a lot harder due to the obvious temptation of just riding on your looks. Someone whose highly attractive doesn't need to be that intelligent to get a lot of validation and attention. They can get away with being stupid, and anything people can get away with they're more likely to do.

The further you go down in terms of attractiveness the more you have to rely on your intelligence, your verbal abilities and your sense of humour.

If you're attractive and choose to focus on intellectual pursuits, it shows a great deal of spiritual fortitude.
