Asians can hear, and see what you're visually thinking. This is the absolute complete truth!!!!!

The reason a lot of Asians have completely expressionless faces is so they don't accidentally show facial expressions when people think things they don't like, find funny, astonishing, etc, and Asians segregate so they’re not nearly as susceptible to that happening.
Asians also segregate, and are untalkative to avoid accidentally saying things that are similar to what people are thinking and going to say.

Try thinking, and visually picturing things that are as wild as you can when you are around Asians, and look for Asians who give people dirty/particular looks for what appears to be for completely no reason.

PLEASE SPREAD THE MESSAGE!!!!! THE WORLD NEEDS TO KNOW THIS!!!!!

All Asians are keeping their mind reading abilities a secret, they don’t want ANYBODY to know they can read minds!!! They will never admit they can!

Fuck, I cannot write to save my life.
"I’m getting to that point again where I’m all too detached to describe a thing, though I picture it in complete detail. I can play back all the tapes for myself but to play them for you is too much. I just want to sum up in such ridiculous brevity anyways.

Staring at the back of A’s head and watching his muscular neck. Trying to remember how to say his name correctly. Then C’s short ponytail and Doc Martens. Her overly thorough class questions in rushed lisped language. Her laughter at a joke I whispered to myself and didn’t even think was that funny. Then coming back and seeing A’s nose broken and watching it never really heal quite right. His bitching and moaning over everything oddly still virile. Him dropping his papers and me really not wanting to pick them up. Nearly jumping out of my seat when his arm brushed mine. Then going home every day with T’s epicene face in my mind. His bitching and moaning with a effeminate tinge to it. So matter a fact and truthy. Yet I could love him for moments at a time. Walking in the hall with me for five minutes and feeling feelings afterwards. Listening to him say things like “You remind me of myself” and later taking them out of context and reason while I pretended to read in the library.
I was always an observer, half worshiper, half judge."

No one understood why I wanted to work here. A shit country with even worse politicians and absolutely awful climate and geography.
But it's appeal came from not only the promise of a fresh culture; it also lacked also my trash family and friends of convenience. I thought maybe this time I could get it right. Even if I had to suffer from intense loneliness here, at least maybe I would have enough silence to focus that emotion into work.
I never thought he would bother me. I've had many limerent objects before, many affairs of the heart, and most only throbbed for a brief interlude until I tired of them.
But I'd dreamed of this one for so long. Years of articles read, pictures saved. I'd told myself a hundred times it was such folly. I'd told myself a hundred times I was making it all up, that I was destroying myself. But I believed I could separate a fantasy from a reality. I believed that once I met him I would understand he wasn't this demigod I had made him into in my mind.
But the articles were so accurate. He lived the life of the world's greatest hypocrite with such pride. He hid his old trash erotica behind his book shelf. He smiled so sarcastically when anyone gave a speech, like he had no idea why any of them were even there. His voice smooth and deep yet almost breathy, he would speak of the future, convincing everyone he was a realist without ambition. Though he generally stayed out of the spotlight, one could see his ego from a mile away. I've never seen someone stir up more beef than him in my life, yet his endeavors were just a silent well known secret.

what do you guys make of the theory that Stephen King murdered John Lennon? I've been doing some research into this and the connections to the claims that Will Smith raped and murdered a young girl in 1990. Some of this stuff makes a lot of sense.

does anyone do/have any "pre-read" websites or sources that help prepare them for a book?
for example; gabriel garcia marquez,
>love in the time of cholera
you can read it and get it right from the first read
>one hundred years of solitude
not so much

(much like Arden/Folger footnotes that help a reader "get" things that would usually be lost on an average reader).

I've been using sparknotes. Helped a lot for one hundred years

Eguenie was so lovely and retarded. She had brown hair like with the almonds are retarded. Her dress was retarded like the clouds are. She spoke very slowly and walked in a really nice and retarded form.
Retarded Izolda said Eguenie to fiend the third peace. She listened her retarded friend and start searching. Searching for something retarded that you don’t know where it is in the ocean it is very difficult.
Eguenie started searching for the third piece in her kingdom, but there she didn’t found anything retarded. She saw in the retarded

favorite quote:

"It is naturally intolerant of any theoretical narrowness(here he lumps in all forms of reductive empiricism) which tries to limit or distort the psychoanalytic field of study.Psychoanalytic method is itself the rigorous critic of psychoanalysis."

>Reading a book.
>Reach the last chapter/epilogue.
>20 YEARS LATER

Oh my god. I hate this device so much it hurts. i can't think of ANY good reason for the author to put a major timeskip at the very end / epilogue of the book. It's one of the cheapest heartstring grabs imaginable, tricking you into thinking you're feeling sentimental by literally robbing you of decades of the story you cared about.

This should be a literary crime. Am I the only one who feels this way?

Why I love /lit/:

I am only 14 years old, and no one takes me seriously at all. This is most likely due to my relatively young age. On here, though, you people take me seriously, despite (actually, because of) the fact that you don't know me at all.

I start 2-3 threads a day here that get really good discussions going. No where else can I do that.

Thank you.

Can you guys recommend me any good fantasy books that concentrate more on super powered badassery, the wars and the magic and cool weapons and less on pathetic nerd baiting? And are, you know, good. Cheers.

So what's the deal with this The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo series, besides me being several years late to the party?

I feel like I'm avoiding it simply because it's a pop lit book like Twilight and I'm not a child anymore. Has anyone read it and thought it was worth reading?

Am I the only one who can only read books for entertainment? Reading books for "intellectual enrichment" or for their philosophical value seems boring to me. Unless it's a book that's directly educational like "Linux for Dummies". But when they try to have some deep message behind the story and all kinds of metaphors and references to things I don't care about, it just feels so dull. I can only imagine people do it for their own masturbatory purposes.

Then again, I feel similar about music and visual art, so maybe I just don't understand art. I just feel that art should have a direct appeal that doesn't require fancy intellectual analysis to appreciate.

It is said that the little princes plot is taken from Antoine de Saint-Exupéry experiences on the saharan desert registred on a memoir.
Has anyone read it? If yes, can you point if thiss sentence came from an specific part?
"It is the time you have wasted for your rose that makes your rose so important."

I lay here dreaming
the smell of sharpie on my arm surcomes me
i find myself wishing i was home,
with you in my arms.
i pray for time to pass faster
for as the days linger i only miss you more
the sound of your voice lingers in my mind
i slowly drift into an unconcious state as i stare into my memories
a day has not passed where i have not thought about you
i dream to call you my girl
i dream that our friendship will only grow stronger
i dream to to say i love you
i dream to say i do
your laugh allways makes my smile
somehow you allways make my day better
if you were with me now,
i would celibrate with bliss.
missing you only makes me stronger
missing you only makes me more of a man
once i finaly see you i wont know what to do
but what i do know one thing,
I miss you babe.

tell me what you thik this is a rough draft
