Let me guess, Frank is going to decide what is good enough for compensation. Kek. Here, let me go over this slowly: F Gardner has zero intention of founding any online or print periodical or anthology. None. He wanted to flex on me because one of the few limp criticisms he has against &amp is that we don’t pay contributors. Frank can be my guest. He doesn’t have anywhere near the sort of wherewithal necessary to start the thing, let alone actually do the thing.
But let’s imagine for a moment that he did find a decent team and did come up with a cool periodical or anthology. He will be paying contributors with his own money, and that will be that. After three years, I’ve finally made &amp ‘profitable’, which means that the $30 I get on Patreon every month finally covers the $20 monthly Canva bill, the $5 web hosting bill, with $5 (read ‘‘em and weep) for me to throw around when I go to town (I even decided to ‘pay’ contributors to the Mystery Anthology by offering them a copy of the book (rendering that project immediately into the red (depending on sales (which as you can imagine aren’t ever that substantial (though I’d like to know more about Tales’ Sales))))). It’s entirely possible that Frank is wealthy enough to not care whether his project net loses money(he is obviously used to losing money)—god knows I kept the magazine afloat just because I wanted to, for my sake—but he will capitulate to his own ego if anybody dares to call him a faggot, and then what? He has no skill. His ‘work’ has demonstrated clearly that he has no skill for design, editing, or composition. I might give him credit for the marketing he’s done, however his only skill in that regard is having enough money to consistently navigate 4chan’s terrible selfservice advertising interface meanwhile samefagging harder than any other human on god’s gray earth. In short, he is simply not made of the right stuff, chiefly, the ability to take his Ls with grace, and the ability to work with others. Frank does not want to collaborate. He’s never once contributed to &amp. I’ve asked countless times. He would rather sit back and let people bring him up, and now that the only dude hyping him up and attempting to convince people that he was /ourshill/—me—has openly called for his videotaped dismemberment, he wants to start a magazine. Kek. A hearty and visceral kek.
