what do you think of it?

I read this on recommendation from someone on here and I honestly don't understand why it's meant to be so good. I was confused about the motivations for her angst the entire time and especially confused bout the decision to kill herself. Obviously the attempted rape contributed but she seemed to be saying she was under some enormous social pressure to get married but it didn't seem like anyone in her life was actually doing anything of the sort.
Why's it good, /lit/? I didn't see it.

I read this as a whiny depressed suicidal 19 year old girl, thinking I would find something to relate to in it

It was so whiny that I was bored and it pissed me off. I wish plath killed herself before writing this trash
