Just when I thought The Iron Dragon's Daughter couldn't get any worse with mediocre prose, degenerate shit and edgy subversions, I get this fedora tipper's wet dream of a line:

I skimmed ahead and chapter 21 begins with
>... Jane waggled his penis back and forth. It was such a funny, floppy little fellow, she thought affectionately.
All this shit would be alright if 1/3 of the book had not been about poor teenage Jane, an innocent and exploited 13yo who barely escaped rape and a life of just breeding half blood pilots for other dragons. It's creepy and cringe. The lore and world building is so schizo I don't know how it made it past an editor. There are trolls, faeries, talking gargoyles, hyena headed people, a world ruled by some Godess and high elves and this bastard has the nerve to drop a mention of Catholism and Islam. It's too late to drop it now.
