I was going through a dark time during the peak of the covid pandemic; freshly out of university, unemployed, broke up with girlfriend, job I was working very hard for didn't work out.

I ended up reading pic related and it changed my perspective. I became greatful that I'm warm, safe, have food to eat and relative freedom. It was uplifting to read about how much people have and continue to go through, and they still manage to preserve their faith and spirit.

Thoughts on this book? Anyone read it?

I was in a bad place when I read it, and it completely changed my perspective; made me appreciate how much worse things could be.

Was this really deboonked or was it more leftist cope?

90 pages in and its the same shit over and over. Yea i get it people went to prison whatever. Is this the entire book?

Every citizen of the 21st century has to read this book. It's not optional, it is mandatory.

Imagine considering yourself well read or having the slightest clue without having read pic related.

How can anyone even being to defend leftism after this?
