I got to talking with somebody who runs a small publishing house recently. I was initially hoping to try and get some of my poems published in a chapbook with them, but they asked about the big sci-fi story I am writing and when I started telling them about it their eyes lit up. They were very excited and asked to see about 40 pages from the first book.

Things are looking up for me, /lit/, I am going to make it. I'm going to become a great writer and a great poet.
