It's a mystery/thriller novel. Finished it the other week. Just waiting for it to get edited now, then I can put it up on Amazon (not even going to bother going the traditional route). Also, tonight I started writing my next book, a dark fantasy. Done about 1200 words so far. Still in the prologue. Good luck to everyone out there.

Go for it, friendo. I started writing a few months ago to deal with mental illness. I wrapped up my symptoms as a single syndrome and started writing a soft sci-fi novel about them being the effect of a new virus. I'll probably never finish the novel, let alone release it, but it's been cathartic. I actually feel much better for it. Probably the same effect as talking through them with a therapist, minus the part where you line their pockets with thousands of dollars.
