I had a professor at my university who was incredibly based. He gave us free pdfs of Peter Kreef's socratic logic, the trivium, how to read a book, an argument against moral relativism, some papers by Dostoevsky, and more. The class was philosophy 244 "professional responsibility," a bs gen ed class with half the class being chinese students who didn't know english. Instead of teaching us "professional responsibility," he taught us the basic of formal logic and had us read some of Plato, Aristotle, Mill, and some others that I have now forgotten. I know this fucker is a 4channer. He even wore a "meme jihad" shit to class once.
If you reading this dr., thanks for the redpill. You were a breath of fresh air in the sophist dominated university. You wouldn't believe were I'm headed.
Did you guys have any based professors?

when your tradition hasn't produced anything of value in the last 500 years, I supposed that would be the position you would take.
