Did you even read the article? First off, it's a book review; it isn't an opinion piece. The views are those of the author of the book, not of the article; the latter even expresses suspicion towards the author's ideas.
Second, the author's ideas are hardly radical. She suggests confronting infidelity with compassion AFTER rage. She's also a marriage counselor, so she necessarily comes to the topic preferring to save the marriage - and she seems interested in maintaining monogamy.
Third, the article qualifies its statements about polyamory by claiming no relationship configuration can guarantee against moral transgressions, and also notes that a lot of polyamorous relationships are the result of a one-sided compromise. Which is true.

I don't agree with the book either, but least pretend to read.
