What are you describing is called pure math. If you study math at a non shitty uni that's what will teach you, no one will want you to design a wing. Yes you will have to integrate and shit but that's just to prove you are not a complete brainlet. The main thing you will be doing is proofs.
If you say you don't wanna do proofs then kindly go back to your gay humanity studies, because proofs equate with what you want, understanding of abstract math stuff.

You can just self study pure math. Start with Sheldon's Axlers Linear algebra done right, or sergejs langs Lin alg, or Paul's halmoss book.
Also learn some mathematical analysis.
