smoking weed is fine but it allows you to ignore your problems.
solve your problems then get high and do whatever.

Used to vape concentrate. Been "clean" for 6 months but it's not like i ever had a dependency. I just buy in bulk.
An ounce of rather pure stuff will cost you 300 bucks. It'll last you half a year. Much less than what people pay for alcohol.

Dabbling in writing myself. I got some ideas and already have a few pages...of chapter 2. How do you guys write your opening?

What sort of things help you make something that doesn't feel forced or long winded explanations? How do you introduce the reader to elements of your setting that are going to be strange without wasting pages just explaining?

There are a ridiculous amount of exclamation marks in that excerpt you posted. I'm not a fan of the blurb at the beginning mentioning Tony Stark and Mercy either, it diminishes the integrity of your own idea.
