What do you do with old, unwanted books?

For instance, for school I was required to purchase the abridged versions of Count of Monte Cristo and Don Quixote. I would like to buy and read the unabridged versions. I dunno if I want to have the old ones lying around taking up space. I mean I could give them to my younger bro but he's only 13 and not a big reader. I also have general YA shit that I don't read anymore like the Dexter series. Do you sell your old shit on half.com or something or just give them away to goodwill?

try master and margarita for fun, but i feel like americans can't fully grasp the whole satire of it.
