I don't blame you for believing this. Anyone who's telling you there's no room for science with Christianity is either an atheist who pays no attention to the toxic grip they have on their ideology, or a power-hungry pseudo-pastor who has no intent of appreciating actual Christianity. This world is beautiful and we have a duty to got to explore it.
I recommend watching the episode "Club Spongebob" from the animated television show "spongebob squarepants."
It unironically represents the issue pretty well, and is funny.
