I mean, if you are more interested in the side characters, there is a decent chance of them dying. The End also wasn't really a happy end in any way, because it couldn't deliver. And the main characters in Berserk also have a Thicc Plot amor.

>Still think Berserk is the best Anime of all Time

Some of this suffering that has its roots within a society's culture is for the main part reasons that are logical are simply just antiquated at this point. The reason anxiety and depression exists for people in these specific situations is because of the history of the society and its identity as a country. America identifies itself as a hard working nation so a NEET in the US would, regardless of his own person views, feel very shameful and depressed. This also applies to everyone around them that understands the situation they are in. In Asia I imagine(im not familiar but its irrelevant)has for the most part a long history in having respect for family lineage and tradition because it is for the most part in lime with their country's identity as a nation.

I imagine that a lot of this suffering could easily be seen as antiquated cultural influence but also could be seen as a nationalistic ideology(meme word) pushed onto everyone for good reason. I'm not sure if it would be preventable in the nations of now unless serious push is made and maybe in x amount centuries a sociological revolution is made. I can see it happening in a developing country that lacks an identity to form behind and with a good vision/government maybe it could be done. The roots of these traumas are very complex and not even intentional for the most part so maybe it is innate in human civilizations to form these ideas therefore unpreventable

Pynch in general is overrated. Crying Lot of 49 was fucking boring.
