Ernest Hemingway is so based. What do you think, /lit/? I, personally, consider him the greatest American author.

I'll be staying with family very shortly for two weeks, anyone want to recommend 3-4 paperbacks easily available at most second hand book stores to fill the time? For what its worth I'm Australian and severely under read.

Say what you will about his writing style, Hemingway lived the kind of life I wished I lived as a writer rather than the typical loner typing away at his Mac in Starbucks that seems so prevalent these days.
