Ethics of care sucks ass. It's barely even an ethical theory. Everything good about it already exists in other ethical theories.
As for the best normative theory, it is, of course, Deontological Ethics.

Anyone else have the type of OCD where your brain constantly makes you do challenges?

It's the most frustrating thing that I cannot stop doing. When I open the garage door, my mind tells me to get in my car and put my seat belt on before it fully opens, or I'll die in a car wreck. Whenever I climb stairs, I'm told to hold my breath while I'm on them, or I'll die. If I don't count my zoloft pills ten times, I'll die. If I don't stop the microwave timer on exactly 0:07, I'll die. If I don't take exactly two steps on the carpet between my bathroom and my bedroom, I'll die.

If I try to hold off these urges, I feel like something's trying to come out of my skin, like being trapped in a latex bodysuit without a zipper. Sometimes, I don't even notice that I'm doing these things until after I do them. I'm literally just watching myself drive towards a cliff with a brick on the gas.

A single IP can post 5 threads
IPs are easily changed thanks to Ph*Ne posters
The same groups of spergs have been posting "why is he so right" variations of Kaczynski threads for years
/pol/tards have been posting twitter bait threads for years
Peterson has been bait for years
don't attribute to raiding that which is adequately explained by autism

What is Enlightenment? Enlightenment is politics' emacipation from its self-incurred servitude. Servitude, in the inability to practice itself without being the thrall of economics. This servitude is self-incurred if its cause is not lack of ability, but lack of resolution and courage to act without the guidance of economics. The motto of enlightenment is therefore: Non ducor duco: Have courage to practice your own discipline!

It can give you good recommendations but you have to excercise some judgement in picking through what it spits out at you. as >>12975652 says, you can make bookshelves and get recommendations based on them, so you can select the pool from which the AI does its work. All that said, you will run into diminishing returns the more you read as it tends to promote the same books over and over again, as the pool seems quite limited.
Trawling the "people also read" or scrolling down into the ratings/reviews and looking through other peoples accounts is also a good way of finding more books on a given topic to read. Every so often you'll hit upon a massive autist in a given subject and their profile is a veritable treasure-trove of recommendations.

You all got a lot of reading done while 4channel was down, right?

It is the hallmark sign of a new, transient class of 4channer. Whereas many users of 4chan only come here for their particular interest—literature, anime, fitness, video games—with the chan-culture twist, the particular interest of this new class is 4chan itself. While the particular board users will cross-board along the lines of the natural comorbidity of interests, say: /lit/–/his/, /fa/–/soc/, /co/–/tv/, ect. they will generally stay within the peripheries of their experience. This is not the case with this new class; they could be considered professional cross-boarders, as, having no particular interest but 4chan itself, they are not at home or confined by any board or subject, and as such drift across all boards like a meme-miasma, spreading sickness and low-quality posting. As such they do not develop a board culture, but a cross-board culture. This causes them to develop a universal language, which this invariably means a compound super-structure of "memes." This universal language circumvents one of the core issues that this new class faces—having no interest in any particular board, they cannot properly engage with the content of any board. To amend this problem, they will engage their universal language of shitposting, making a superficial thread which is merely a slightly adjusted template version of the same meme. They are searching for the posts which play to the stereotype of 4chan that they hold: NEET/incel-posting, sick burns, ironic posting, ect. They will then engage with these by posting their universal language or "based and redpilled" or "cringe and bluepilled" or "yikes" or whatever is currently in fashion. These replies are essentially meaningless, but stoke a feeling of engagement within this new class, and help mark out the ebin posts for their compatriots. This new class is constantly growing and can be felt on every corner of 4chan, are especially prevalent in boards like /pol/ and /tv/, and replace any actual discussion of the topic at hand with twitter bait threads, dumb youtube videos, meme threads, e-celebs, "ironic" dumb-posting—basically topics which anyone can engage with no investment and are part of the mosaic identity of this new class (Peterson, Feminism, "onions," Jannies, NPC, cringe, ect., topics which pertain to no board in particular). They are also the most likely to use frogs, wojacks, and other highly repeatable images. In fact, this very thread is a perfect example of this new class at work. Due to the political-economy of posting they will always be able to outpace, outpost, and overrun any but the largest boards.
