I don’t think the posters ITT understand the severity of the dangers of social media. The biggest problem isn’t “addiction” or anything like that. Social Media literally scrambles your brain and turns you into a surrogate-like pod person. All experiences only happen if they’re posted about on your social media. Your “friends” are just accounts from people you haven’t seen in the past decade. Everything that you think about is programming from the mass media, which has trickled down your news feed that day. All your thoughts and opinions resemble the hivemind. Not no mention, you live in the past, stalking profiles of your ex-gf and looking at high school crushes. It’s like a Funhouse. Get off Facebook.
