Where do I find other literati? I'm not a NEET without friends, but everyone I reads YA, if even that. My uni doesn't really have a literary culture, my home state doesn't either. I've found only one person in my life who actually seemed like an intellectual. I just want some friends I can discuss Thomas Hardy or Heidigger or whatever with at a coffee shop or something.

What makes one inherently a good person?

Is everyone expected to improve the world in some way to earn that status? Or can one go through regular life, never really exemplar in one way, and still be considered "good"?
