Will I lose my lit powers if I get a (lit) gf?

I kinda feel that, unconsciously, all the motivation and interest that fuels my reading boils down to getting attention from others in general and girls in particular (even if consciously i have specific motivations concerning only myself). So that, when the thing is done, the mind will perhaps loosen its abilities and capacities and I'll just become a brainlet repeating over and over the same thing that succeeded that one first time.

Have you ever thought about this? What are your thoughts/experiences on it?
