Anyone here read "So This Is Permanence" by Ian Curtis? It's a shame he offed himself, he was well on his way to being the next great poet.

If you look past Ian Curtis's overblown status as a tragic icon, he wrote some really good lyrics. Songs like "Atmosphere" and "The Eternal" make the hairs on my neck stick up.

Ian Curtis wrote iconic lyrics and poetry about depression, isolation, and loneliness but he was a completely normal, good looking guy.
