I just finished Mother of Learning and I really enjoyed it. I particularly liked how the main character, despite having his character flaws, was generally just kind of a level headed person who tried to think things out and not be retarded while also being neither comically evil nor an obnoxious justicefag. The author portrayed him as reasonably intelligent in a realistic sort of way without resorting to making him some 900iq genius chessmaster who might as well be bending fate or making all the other characters retarded just so that the mc can shine.

Also I like really long stories.

Does anyone have any recommendations for similar books, webnovels, etc.? Not really a fan of litrpgs as a concept but I'm willing to give most anything a chance.
inb4 your taste is shit and my recommendation is kys
