Oooooh shit! I didn't even think of that! Thanks anon, I was actually about to buy that thing just now, but come to think of it you're right. Typewriters worked because the paper would scroll upwards, similar to a laptop, but with this thing you'd be looking down the whole time.

Yup, nevermind.

What IN THE FUCK are you talking about? Do you fucking read what you write before you submit it? Are you mentally ill? What the FUCK are you talking about dude? You don't have a cell phone? Are you the last motherfucking person on earth that doesn't have a cell phone? Is that what you're saying?

>we value what little is left of our rights and freedoms.

Nobody is monitoring what you're reading or talking about on your phone, dumbass. Even if they were I can assure you that you aren't reading, writing, or saying anything that matters to ANYONE. Take your medication every once in a while.

My goodness you're a fucking idiot.

I can't believe not even one person here recommended Stoner. It's one of the best books I've ever read. Like literally one of those that you finish and just stare out the window for about an hour.

C'mon you guys...

[ERROR]

I've recently taken a liking to short stories. It started when I thought I'd give Shirley Jackson a try and cemented itself with Roald Dahl's "Kiss Kiss." I heard great things about Raymond Carver but upon sampling out his book "Cathedral" I felt that it wasn't really my thing. I also checked out 999 and skipped straight to Stephen King's story "The Road Virus Travels North," but I didn't really care for that one either, in fact I've noticed that writing short stories isn't really his forte; feels too much like he's trying too hard not to write a book.

So long story short, I was wondering if anyone could recommend some good short stories or short story collections. I tried checking out the sticky, in fact I constantly TRY to use the sticky but the fucking thing makes no sense to me. I can't be the only one that finds the sticky to be a garbled-user unfriendly mess, I just can't be. There should be a sticky that explains how to use the sticky.

Thanks in advance!
