and where are the books on this massive subject? Where are the authors?

The author would have to not be held back by feelings for the catholic church or ethnic ideologies, since most of the propaganda relates to ethnic consolidation against a larger silent majority; most nations have some form of "we were persecuted" in their pitiable histories also, so no nationalist could write this and no christian either, as the bedrock of the faith is 100% "propaganda fides" and 'bad faith' libel / ad hominem / appeal to audience, etc.

Forgive me, /lit/, I'm considering how it is that 'evil actions' seem to operate from this basis in virtually all instances (of those popular atrocities which did take place, following this recipe of preemptively demonizing the intended victim). It certainly appears this this 'phenomenon' ought have lots of books about it, and then I consider what culture such an author would have to come from to actually be able to see the matter clearly and not be demonized by his culture for stepping on their sacred absurdisms.

I'm down to the USSR for potential candidates and I cannot be fucking bothered to learn Russian.

And is this a western phenomenon? possibly inspired by the religion or habituated to this mentality via the notion of 'fidelity' to untruth? Isn't it queer how academics have persisted in this behavior even in entirely secular liberal climates, for centuries, when freed of the yolk? Is it 'merely' egotism or possibly a gestalt ethnic egotism on the part of mental cripples? Could we cauterize this part of the brain? If we did, what would society be like this? If we attempted, every single contemporary world faction would unite to stop us; each of them being organized and operating upon this protocol - be it conscious or unconscious - in their every action.

Truth is sometimes inactionable.

"hello, my name is justin the martyr, i bet you can guess what my claim to fame is!"
"did you invent a great thing, justin? did you do something comparable to serious human?"
"haha, no, i was unjustly killed by the state!"

>as much
I just think it's a bit boring, in light of the subsequent 300 years of theatre (arguably not a lot of it survives); but really it's the person who believes Shakespeare is the beginning and end of theatre; whilst being aware of nothing at all else. I get the impression that the Shakespeare fetish is ... as you say here,
> the "foundational national author"
>there are mentions out there of Shakespeare's esteem being raised to where it is today during victorian times,
sort of artificially hoisted up because the more interesting stuff contained more relevant or deeper subject matter which was embarrassing to the stuffy attitudes of the later 1800's folks.

Sort how nothing survives of the Roman Atellan Farce or Menippean Satires, except that we know they were wildly popular until they were banned. Same thing can be recalled of the more engaging theatre in the 1700's, and its disappearance.

>Also keep in mind there's a lot of seethe involved in angloids realizing they'll never have a Dante or Cervantes, so they came up with the easiest one they could find.
Ha, true. Although we have David Garrick.

>Picard
and speaking of David Garrick.

My overall point is that the vigor of theatre is lost to this dusty old regurgitation of nothingness.

>why people pretend to like him
Well it certainly is a pretense; if you're only aware of one particular kind of biscuit you can't claim to have any experience in biscuits. I suggest that the wodge of dried bread dough they hold up as being 'the best biscuit ever' is not the best biscuit ever.

>But if she's so narcissistic then why would she be so pleasant and obedient in the beginning?
It's a put-on; an act; a pretense, she mimics what she thinks she ought be perceived as an tailors her movements and utterances to convey a certain image that she's trying to pass herself off as being.

But .. okay, that's not really Juliet. Or... is it? Was Peake in fact really really really right about it..? I don't know lol

>You have filled the whole world with tombs and sepulchres, and yet in your scriptures it is nowhere said that you must grovel among tombs 138 and pay them honour. But you have gone so far in iniquity that you think you need not listen even to the words of Jesus of Nazareth on this |417 matter. Listen then to what he says about sepulchres :
"Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres; outward the tomb appears beautiful, but within it is full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness." 139
>If, then, Jesus said that sepulchres are full of uncleanness, how can you invoke God at them? . . .140

>Therefore, since this is so, why do you grovel among tombs? Do you wish to hear the reason? It is not I who will tell you, but the prophet Isaiah :
"They lodge among tombs and in caves for the sake of dream visions." 141
>You observe, then, how ancient among the Jews was this work of witchcraft, namely, sleeping among tombs for the sake of dream visions. And indeed it is likely that your apostles, after their teacher's death, practised this and handed it down to you from the beginning, I mean to those who first adopted your faith, and that they themselves performed their spells more skilfully than you do, and displayed openly to those who came after them the places in which they performed this witchcraft and abomination.

1) Edward had queered his reasoning and arrived at an error. He'd believed that by culling 11,000 dutch dairy farms that he would be lauded for reducing the carbon emissions in the Netherlands; he might well have been lauded, except that his actions had sent the price of milk up to 5,000 euros a bottle.

Queer; Queered : to fuck a thing up by miscalculation and ignorance towards consequence.

2) Harriet was tired of her fathers faggotry. Everytime her little brother Peter would read aloud his school work at the dining table her father went to mocking and belittling Peter; making noises with his mouth and picking on the most obscure aspects of Peters writing in order to break his confidence and make him more obedient.

Faggot; Faggotry : typically male-on-male adult-to-child socially orientated bullying, designed to destroy the willpower of a younger boy to render him submissive to an older boy. English Grammar Schools, early 1900's.

3) Alfred a not considered himself a niggardly fellow, but he had been forced to admit that in his manners and actions he was indeed quite the niggar. He would not buy new clothes for his you daughter, he pinched his pennies whenever he could - tho' he rationalized this as proper economy, but the result was that he and his family were reduced to a disheveled appearance whilst he himself scrimped upon their haberdashery in order to afford of himself a golden pocket watch which e coveted and proudly displayed to any Tom Dick who happened to ask for the time of day.

Niggardly; to be selfish with things, jealous of money, eager to spend on self, opposed to spending anything on anybody else; uncharitable.
