No, New Deal unions aren’t useful. They’re starved of cash and higher ups take bribes to be ineffectual. On top of being hampered by laws and rules. Actual unions of workers need to break out and just declare it. No asking.

Someone calling themselves communist are either in a “Communist” political party or a dumbass.

Libertarian-socialists are anarchists and want to achieve the commune
Some state socialists say they want that too, while others say they want to fix capitalism. The former want to use capitalism to reach communism.
