This is what I hate about this place. The only times people talk about thinkers on here is because of bait, and as a result people's first impressions get warped. Marie von Franz is a great thinker, and I'm happy there's a reasonably active thread about her.

But if all you know about her is OP's bait, then you're very mistaken

It's bleak but what you said is pretty accurate. The digital age is all about shilling and grifting, and people with good taste inherently know how poor in taste it is to do that

You either have to have some form of narcissism, or just genuinely lack any self awareness to constantly self promote yourself without it leaving a dirty taste in your mouth
