I started out really enjoying it because it read so easily and I liked how laid back Chinaski was, but after a while it lost its novelty. So I kept reading and nothing really happens? It just ends. What gives? Should I have just enjoyed it for what it was? I really wished there was some kind of "plot".

Quitting the internet for a year. Need some books to download before I leave. Post your favorite classic book or any book you like in general.
Pic related its what I'm currently reading.

Any good books that have sex as the main theme or contain a lot of it? Actual good reads that aren't the kind of thing you would be embarrassed telling people about it

I understand 1984 and the like, but this one, when I was 15 was quite the shock.
I liked it tho. Maybe it's not a good book, but it made me realise that literature could be about eveything. At the time I didn't even know there was such a thing as 'best-sellers'

Could /lit/ recommend me some similar books to Bukowski's Post Office?
