Stop posting Deleuze quotes, he's hard to understand even in context. For those curious, D&G were constructivists in the sense that the saw philosophy as the creation of concepts and art/science as the creation of equivalent notions that are nontheless different (affects and percepts for art, functives for science or something like that). The difference resides in the fact that when you're being creative you try to put something new together, a new vision (something that may lead to a scientific paradigm shift for example) whereas reflection, contemplation and communication act on pre-constituted objects or notions and take them for granted.
