I have read Capital and a few other books by him, yeah. The best secondary literature written on him was by Michel Henry. I love Marx's early humanist stuff although I do think Kolakowski and Adorno have written good crtiques of the Promethean tendency within it.

Recently I've been reading some of his work that has been translated into English and I wanted to start a thread to discuss it with anybody else who has been reading him or is familar with him in general. He is generally considered part of the Theological Turn in French Phenomenology but I think he is a much greater thinker than Levinas and the other Jewish-Mystics he is often associated with. His book "I am the True" is truly beautiful and his general theory of Life is criminally overlooked for how innovative it is.
