I think the problem is that Ellis is limited by covering topics that people actually care about. Her video about The Hunchback of Notre Dame was interesting as fuck, but she talked about the book in the context of the Disney adaptation. That death of the author video focused a lot on John Green of all people. She'll never do a video on something like Gravity's Rainbow or The Book of Disquiet or whatever.
