What's your favorite book of the 70s?

What are some other books like this?

I mean sense of no time or an exact location. Feel like there is no difference between first and last pages.

Feeling like it is a whole organism consisting of same and identical parts.

Just finished it and my mind is blown.

Can any other readers who read it share their thoughts, analyises, feelings about it ?

It can be a good experience for me.

I can't read every book, I need to know first. It would be a waste of time if I read it only to find out it was a bad book.

Should I read that book or this book? Which book is better?

I don't currently have a copy of Invisible Cities. I had to throw mine out after I vomited on it while really stoned.

What's the book (or books) you turn to when you just want to read beautiful prose?
The one that you can just open at any page to find some enjoyment/pleasure/inspiration from the prose alone
