How does one write good erotica as a virgin?
Should I strive for good prose, or just fill it with repetitive, vulgar slop?

Is it gay if, while writing erotica, I mainly write from the female point of view?
My target audience isn't women, but despite that, I feel more comfortable writing what the woman feels, while describing what the man does.
My guess is, that this is because I care what women feel, in a sexual context anyway, but maybe it's just me self-inserting?

These are all statements of imagined facts but do these count as "images?" When you imagine and bring yourself to falsely believe that the grandmother didn't want to go to Florida, or that the narrator's mother died yesterday (or whenever), does this count as "casting an image upon the visual imagination"? If in a work of fiction there is a "static" statement like "The pot sat on the side table," this casts an image, but I'm unsure about statements similar to my first two examples

what's a word for when someone says "hmm" without actually writing the dialog "hmm"? It's not a grunt or a hum.
