I've quickly glanced over it, but I'm a bit confused. Is this supposed to be the writing of a libertine or that of a romantic fellow putting on libertine affections?

I'm afraid it's the latter, but the first would surely be interesting. I've often thought of writing such things myself, and with that hoping that such works would call enough attention to it to build a community, or even a commune, around those experiences and values, in close connection to the ideas of Sade and the Cyrenaics.
