This board, and people on twitter, would love to pretend that there are armies of astrology thot pseuds in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NYU, U of Chicago, Berkely, Portland, liberal arts and mid-sized art colleges, etc. Theyre obsessed with their horny/angry fantasy that tons of girls are misunderstanding hegel and tweeting about how men are cancelled while breathing out of their mouths right now. Truth is that the girls with the alt hipster style are FAR dumber than people estimate them to be. They usually read on a YA level or like rupi kaur, if they read at all. They couldn't care less about Deleuze, theyre normies. If they are in a sociology class, they're struggling and don't really care to understand the content, and they have arranged the lightest course load possible. If theyre studying for a dissertation, post-doc, research etc. in the humanities, it's some banal topic with tons of scholarship already, and they don't read in their free time, they party and get drinks. They literally couldnt care less for contemporary scholarship, difficult fiction, or difficult theory.
People are attracted to the idea of women less smarter than them, but not TOO less smart, because it's a stimulating thought while you jack off and it makes them an acceptable object of derision. Sorry, but, although tons of women read (more than en), they really overwhelmingly read fantasy genre fics, shitty poetry, pop nonfiction, biographies of celebrities. Thats it. If a woman actually does read difficult lit, or is successful in academia, she's either ugly, old, a bitter miserable grating loser, or a striver who looks completely normal (i.e. no dyed hair).
