I'm sure if we were in a full God-like society I would feel trampled upon as well. But right now the lucificarian oligarchs are in charge and those are people enacting policies I don't like. After those readings, I recommend stuff like the Sophist, the Statesman, and the Laws. The Laws in particular is excellent and doesn't give the attention it deserves.
