If you don't want to shell out $1500+ for that edition, you can get the Heritage Press 3 volume edition for a lot cheaper used. Heritage Press was the sister publishing house to Limited Editions Club, which made that edition. They basically made affordable but still fine versions of books LEC published. I wish they had a Ulysses, it would be nice if there was an affordable version of the LEC.

Another reason to buy used is to get out of print books. The Heritage Press decline and fall is really good and not very expensive.
