Serious question:

So I love reading McCarthy and I kept seeing how /lit/ recommended "Blood Meridian." So I checked it out. I am about halfway through. And I got to ask: Is this some sort of clever /lit/ trolling technique? Everyone praises this book, but so far it has been garbage. Or, at the very least, a producer of yawn-inducing boredom. WTF /lit/? Why you like so much? CMac has done soooooooo much better.
