To be blunt, it sounds it's not really writing but thinking up ideas and daydreaming about being an author that you like. You might also be one of those people who are into genre fiction and put no value on prose or psychological insight and such things but only on plot and worldbuilding, the "ideas". Ideas are only an excuse for the writing, that's where the real pleasure is. You have to fall in love with the text and the process if you want to get anywhere. Anyway, coming up with brilliant ideas won't get you anywhere if you're not going to execute them, so in any case please don't turn to a faggot who sobs how he would be so brilliant if he ever got anything done. Just man up and write or give up.
