following this book will ruin your life, or turn you into a narcissist in training at best. if you surround yourself with fake friends, you will eventually feel like you don't fit in and feel out of place. I would only advise following this book's rules in a workplace setting.

>get tired of waiting and approach the shelf I want
>intentionally knock his cane over
>he starts to whine very jewishly

Ordered it in the mail when I was getting out-processed from the army as a trainee. Outer Dark, Blood Meridian, No Longer Human, and One Hundred Years of Solitude were the only books I had and I read them each several times while I was stuck in the outprocessing barracks (was there over a month). still one of the comfiest reading experiences I've had, curled up in my locker in the dead of winter in Missouri.
>mfw people always came up to my bunk and said "you look really into that book anon, can i read it when you're done?"
>"you're not gonna like it"
>mfw they don't listen and demand it anyways
>mfw they always bring it back within the hour
>mfw they all (males and females both) passed around copies of John Green novels instead

from wikipedia:
>The time and setting are nebulous, but can be assumed to be somewhere in Appalachia, sometime around the turn of the twentieth century.
dude living innawoods with his sister Sweet Home Alabamas her, then disposes of the baby. Sister still wants it and sets out in search for it. Story follows those two characters and another separate group of mysterious individuals. Plenty of biblical allusions, nihilism, and the "natural incoherence", for lack of a better term, that is present in lots of McCarthy's work. It's not quite as beautiful as BM but it definitely has the kind of writing you linger on.

No bueno.

God is for pussies that seek cover in a false belief. Your gods aren't real and therefore they can't give a reason or a heal.
Just shut the fuck up with your autistic stuff, m8. You are weak if you don't accept the fact that religions are created from men, just another abstract object we all agreed upon like money, power and so on. If you realise this and still "seek hope with him", you are just weak.

I mean, Plato said that man was a featherless biped, Spinoza argued that animals are not conscious and Descartes thought apes could speak our language but just pretended not to be able to. Just because someone is brilliant it doesn't mean they are without flaw, especially after long periods of time and development in the field. You don't have to be Michel Roux to say that your food tastes like shit, mate.

Is it really that much of a bother to just write "might not" that you have to resort to an abomination of a contraction, you lazy piece of shit?
