What does /lit/ think of my haiku?

Tiny blots of foam,
towering waves—and below:
We cling to the bed

I always read multiple books at a time. I usually limit myself to two in general (right now Emile and Aimez-vous Brahms). I've also been randomly reading Shakespeare in spurts. I just finished Lear. But I also do Eastern Friday, Greek Saturday, and Roman Sunday.

As of now,
Friday: Book on drugs in Safavid Iran, Epic of Gilgamesh, book of Biblical Canon, Ghazali on 99 Names.
Saturday: Aesop's Fables, Greek plays (on Sophocles right now), Platonic dialogues, and book on Presocratics
Sunday: Aurelius Mediations, Aenied, will start some Roman plays tomorrow probably

I dabble in the Hebrew, Greek, and Latin languages on the respective days. Friday is more exploratory and Saturday and Sunday are more exhaustive. It is nice because dialogues, and plays are something that can be read in a day, and non-fiction does not require as much of a narrative line.

Sometimes I skim but not in things that I choose to read, only things for school.

I also like to read outside in the grass. I stay in my backyard though, reading in public makes it harder to concentrate.

What did Tyler Durden mean by this expression?
