In your assertion that Yahweh is the source of morality and that deviating from this results in sin and discord you were inverting the true nature of the situation, which is that Yahweh asks his followers to blind themselves to morality by abandoning their inner sense of right and wrong to accept him as the ultimate moral arbitor despite that he ordered the sacrifice of children, the slaughter of cities, and the subjugation of foreigners and the taking of their wealth for greedy and jealous Yahweh.
