I've been reading Moby Dick for half a year and am only half way through

Crime and Punishment is one of my favorite books, but I've never been able to finish The Brothers Karamazov or Demons. Am I just a pleb?

I don't like listening to audiobooks because I find it far too easy to space out and miss like 5 minutes of text

Dance with Dragons is way too big to read comfortably imo, I'd rather have it as a split paperback
