Once I become old and bald, will people still appreciate my abrasive personality and ironic insults?

Help me /lit/
Whatever I try to read, I just can't get into poetry.
It just doesn't click for me. Any recommendations?

/lit/ feels thread?

>compulsively books
>never read them
>friend borrows my books all the time because she's too poor to buy many for herself
>always returns them quickly and in good conditions
>says it's so wonderful having a friend who likes to read a lot
>every time she tries to talk with me about the books I have to fake having read them
>eventually she asks if she's boring me when she talks about books, because she's sorry, she didn't mean to do that
>feel embarrassed and say no
>she looks like she doesn't believe me and gets sad and says okay
>mfw she stops borrowing books or talking with me about books
>mfw she hardly talks to me anymore

>tfw he can't just leave and forget Charlotte
>tfw self-esteem broken to bits but he can't blame anyone

I don't think any author from that period and after used the greek tragedy frame as well as Goethe. You can see the underlying dialectics very clearly, yet you still feel trapped with Werther. That's mastery IMO
