Start with Chersterton's biography of saint Thomas Aquinas
>https://www.basilica.ca/documents/2016/10/G.K.Chesterton-Saint%20Thomas%20Aquinas.pdf

If you want some historical context, you have very good introductions :
Gilson's The Spirit of Mediaeval Philosophy for overall intro
>https://fr.scribd.com/document/317197601/E-Gilson-Spirit-of-Mediaeval-Philosophy-pdf
his Philosophy of St. Thomas Aquinas for a focus on Aquinas' philosophy
>https://archive.org/details/philosophyofstth00gils_0

Maurice De Wulf can also be interesting for some historical infos, such as in his Philosophy and Civilization in the Middle Ages
>https://archive.org/stream/philosophyandci00wulfgoog#page/n10/mode/2up

Then try plungeing in his works with a thomist manual (don't know which are solid anglo manuals) (+ a vocabulary if the manual doesn't have one) by your side, in order to either read the manual and deepening it by reading the references in Aquinas, or in order to read Aquinas with the manual as a sort of help if you don't fully get this or that point and want some more explanations.

*tips*

« Fifthly, I hold with certainty and sincerely confess that faith is not a blind sentiment of religion welling up from the depths of the subconscious under the impulse of the heart and the motion of a will trained to morality; but faith is a genuine assent of the intellect to truth received by hearing from an external source. By this assent, because of the authority of the supremely truthful God, we believe to be true that which has been revealed and attested to by a personal God, our creator and lord. »
Saint Pius X
